(I'm just going to copy a blog I wrote last night on myspace and put it here. I think it's a good one, and still relevant to my mood right now.)

Logical. Mhm. Fun word, huh? People like to throw it around a lot, me being one of them. The funny thing about logic though is that you don't really notice how useless it is until you stop using it involuntarily. I don't care about logic anymore. I'm done deciphering things with a naked eye. The world is a lot more beautiful if you see it without overthinking it.

Take love for example. It's illogical. Two people falling for each other due to circumstances beyond their control. Aimlessly placing their trust in each other's intentions, not waiting to see if they will be burnt by what seems like a dream ending. Love though, is also one of the most beautiful things about human existence. Two people connecting on a level incomparable to any other bond they know. Trusting each other because they know the feeling is mutual. You can look at it both ways I suppose, but taking a cautious approach towards love though is a self defeating concept. You have to gamble with it, because if you don't you will never truly understand it. Yeah, it's illogical because you're setting yourself up for possibly being hurt, but when you're actually in love it's worth the insecurity.
